Red River Hog Hunting

The rarest of the Swine species you’ll find in Texas, the Red River Hog is definitely the most attractive. Texas Hunt Lodge will put you on a Huge Red River Hog most any time of the year…these are Trophy Red River Boars. Red River Hogs are a great animal to stock the freezer…from great ribs to fantastic back strap, bacon, and pork roasts, they are our favorite Hog to harvest at Texas Hunt Lodge. There are no seasonal restrictions on hunting the Red River Hog in Texas, which makes it a suitable hunt year-round.

Our Red River Hog Hunters are taken out to a ranch that has only Huge Red River Hogs, no small hogs. You can use a Rifle, Bow, Crossbow, Muzzle-loader, or Handgun to hunt your Red River Hog either from a Blind over a feeder or via Spot and Stalk with our trained professional guides. We can accommodate hunters of any age and experience level, as well as hunters with disabilities.

Our Red River Hogs average 200 pounds, with good teeth, which are perfect for that unique Red River Hog Shoulder mount, Pedestal Mount, or Red River Hog Life-size Mount for your den or office. If you don’t want a shoulder mount, these also make awesome European Skull mounts.
