What is a Painted Desert Ram/Sheep? - The Painted Desert Ram is in the Corsican Sheep Family. In order for a Ram to be classified as a Painted Desert, it must have 3 distinct colors, i.e. White, Brown and Black, as opposed to the typicaly Corsican Barbado Ram only having Brown and Black in their coats.
