Texas Hunt Lodge will show you plenty of Trophy Axis Bucks before you even take a shot. The largest Axis Deer in the World are taken from Kerr County. We Hunt only Big Axis Deer year round as there are no seasonal restrictions on hunting the Axis Deer in Texas.

We are very successful in hunting Big Trophy Axis. When hunting Axis Deer, you may hunt Spot and Stalk, with a Bow, Rifle Hunting, Black Powder, Handgun, or we may take you Safari Style as well as hunting from a Blind. We can accomodate hunters of any age and experience level, as well as hunters which have physical disabilities or may be confined to a wheelchair.

Our average Trophy Axis has main beams in the 30-32 inch range. We currently have a few and very rare 8-point Non Typical Trophy Axis Deer as well as some in the 35+ inch range that are sold as "Record Axis Deer". Our "Record Axis Deer" can only be taken in Kerr County, and we have produced some of the biggest Axis Deer in the world recently. Many of these deer will break TGR and SCI Records this year.

From May through the end of September is the best time of year to hunt Axis as 90% of our Big Axis Bucks will be hard-horned and not broken up.
