Texas Alligator Hunts
Texas Hunt Lodge takes you to the Texas Coast each September, and will you put you on a Trophy Alligator for your trophy room. For 3 weeks in September (Season is September 10-30th, 2011), we offer hunts for awesome Trophy Alligator. September is the seasonal restriction on hunting the Alligator in Texas, which makes this a highly sought-after Hunt.
Our Alligator Hunts will be done with a hook and line, a bow and arrow or crossbow (provided) attached to a buoy may be used in special circumstances. These alligators are free-ranging, therefore we cannot guarantee a size, although 6' to 9' are almost assured. This is an exciting hunt and perfect for corporate or groups! Texas Hunt Lodge, in Sept 2010, took 3 Trophy Alligators...one was a new World Record with Shotgun for SCI and a pending World Record Crossbow with Trophy Game Records. If in a boat, you may have opportunity to shoot Alligator with a Bow and Arrow. - Our experienced Alligator Guides scout Alligators in the area year-round. We've been spotting some of these guys for years. - We can accomodate hunters of any age and experience level, as well as hunters which have physical disabilities or may be confined to a wheelchair. - This package is perfect for Corporate Hunting Trips as we can accommodate up to 12 Hunters/Guests at once or as few as 1 person. - A Texas Hunting license is required for this alligator hunt, but we will supply the CITIES Tag. - Your Alligator Guide can skin the alligator for a Full Size Trophy Mount, Head on Rug, or send your skin to a tannery so you can have your own Alligator Boots or Alligator Purse. - You will not go hungry on this trip.
